Captain Charlie McIntyre commented:
“Preparations have been going really well. As a team we celebrated our success at the Europeans, but quickly focused on our next challenge. After each camp we have grown and become a stronger unit.
“Preparations for myself have been a long process, with a longer season out in Italy and flying back for camps it’s been challenging, but I’ve enjoyed the grind and can’t wait to be with the guys, working hard together and pushing each other to be better.
“The competition will be tough; we all understand what we will face and are trying to work our best to be able to overcome all the challenges. Our goal is obviously to bring the trophy back to the UK but it certainly won’t be easy.”
