In the final, the University of Nottingham battled it out against hosts Loughborough University, in an intense, edge-of-your-seat game, with both teams bringing the heat to the court in this BUCS Championship Final.
In the end, the University of Nottingham came out on top and were crowned the 2025 BUCS Champions. This is their first time back in the final and winning since 2021.
After the game, James, the captain of the University of Nottingham Wheelchair Basketball Team, shared his thoughts in a post-match interview:
“[We were] excited and nervous because we had lost another round. Yeah, it was an amazing atmosphere around the whole team”.
