GB Men’s squad update for Worlds 2026
Thomas Harvey has received a call up to the GB Men’s team and will compete for the side at the upcoming IWBF World Championships this September.
The World Championships 2026 begin 9th September in Ottawa, Canada, and will mark Tom Harvey’s first appearance for the senior side. Tom has previously represented the GB Men U23, assisting the team in achieving Gold at the U23 Europeans in 2024 and bronze at the U23 Worlds in 2025. Alongside Junior GB representation, Tom most recently won Silver with Team England at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, and played a key role in Sheffield Steelers title win at the BWB National Championship Finals.
The team change comes following a temporary suspension for Lee Fryer pending the outcome of investigation.
Nations Cup Cologne 2026
Both the GB Men and GB Women will compete in the Nations Cup 2026, a thrilling invitational tournament hosted by Koln 99ers that provides a key opportunity to refine performance aspects ahead of the World Championships. Great Britain will play against Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, and Canada.
