GB athletes were back in action at home and abroad this weekend following the festive break.
In Germany, RSV Lahn-Dill (Simon Brown, Gaz Choudhry) won 60:55 over visitors ING Skywheelers. Simon Brown had 2 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Gaz Choudhry had 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist. Elsewhere, Rhine River Rhinos (Jim Palmer) were defeated 72:96 at home against RSB Thuringia Bulls. Jim Palmer had 4 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist.
CD Ilunion (Gregg Warburton, Terry Bywater) had a comprehensive 100:31 victory against Abeconsa Basketmi Ferrol. Gregg Warburton was game leader on assists with 8 assists and joint game leader on points with 22 points, and had 4 rebounds. Terry Bywater had 11 points, 2 assists and 4 rebounds.
Amivel Reyes Gutierrez (Abdi Jama, Kyle Marsh, Lewis Edwards, Peter Cusack) won 60:52 over Fundacion Aliados. Abdi Jama had 2 points, 2 assists and 2 rebounds. Kyle Marsh was team leader on assists with 8 assists, and had 22 points and 4 rebounds. Peter Cusack had 7 points and 5 rebounds.
At home in the BWB National League, London Titans (Jack Perry, Jude Hamer) won 43:68 on the road against The Bears. Jude Hamer had 20 points.
