Junior Development Insight survey opens

As part of our ongoing review into how we can improve access to wheelchair basketball for Under 18s, we want to work out how we can remove barriers for young people to our sport.

In collaboration with our research partner Enlightful, we have designed an online survey where the opinions of junior players and the parents / carers of junior players would be welcomed. This is a short, anonymous survey that closes Monday 16th October.

The results of this survey will have a direct impact on the outcome of the review and the actions that are taken following the research period. This is your opportunity to help shape the sport and improve access to the sport for junior players.

Complete the survey here: https://britishwheelchairbasketball.surveysparrow.com/s/wheelchair-basketball-youth-voice-survey-/tt-x7gpM5rS37Mi8PXikY3j1w

If you’re an adult player, coach, official or volunteer, we’re also looking to get your feedback on how we can improve the wheelchair basketball offer for juniors. Head over to the anonymous suggestions page here to have your say: https://britishwheelchairbasketball.surveysparrow.com/s/-Suggestions-box-junior-wheelchair-basketball/tt-iqDXUQXwiasKUBVqnvxnpf

The first part of the Junior review took place in August at the National Junior Championships 2023, where participants were invited to speak to members of the Enlightful team at the event.

This review has been made possible by a grant from the Commonwealth Games Legacy Fund.

EDIT: Deadline extended to 16th October 2023
