Inspire a Generation is a programme with the primary objective of developing fun and accessible recreational opportunities for individuals to engage with wheelchair basketball in their local area, sustaining access to physical activity and an active lifestyle.
The programme seeks to bring to local communities a greater breadth of opportunity for people to access and play the sport of wheelchair basketball.
The ambition of Inspire a Generation is to support more people to become active and enjoy the exciting and inclusive sport of wheelchair basketball. The long-term aim is to help those who sign-up to a six week wheelchair basketball course to continue to enjoy the sport through joining our thriving club network and remaining active.
Inspire a Generation is a British Wheelchair Basketball programme powered by Sport England and The National Lottery, and supported by the Motability Scheme.
