GB athletes returned to the courts in Spain following the festive break and camps for both the Men’s and Women’s squads.
In Spain, the BSR returned following the festive break. Amiab Albacete (Harry Brown, Ben Fox, Lee Manning, Charlotte Moore, Phil Pratt) maintain their 11/0 winning streak, defeating visitors Bidaideak Bilbao (James MacSorley) 73:59. For Amiab Albacete, Harry Brown had 3 points. Ben Fox had 1 point, 2 assists and 2 rebounds. Lee Manning had 22 points, 1 assist and 10 rebounds. In Germany, RSV Lahn-Dill (Gaz Choudhry, Simon Brown) build on their 12/0 winning streak with a 73:81 victory over home team Doneck Dolphins Trier. Gaz Choudhry had 2 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist. At home in the BWB National League Premier Division, Sheffield Steelers (Tyler Baines, Maddie Thompson) won 43:88 over hosts Glasgow Rollin’ Rocks. Maddie Thompson had 12 points. Tyler Baines had 27 points.
