Membership for the 2026/27 season is now open, and is required to compete in our National Leagues and sanctioned competitions.
Wales receive wildcard invite to Glasgow 2026
Wales Men and Wales Women have been awarded the wildcard to compete at Glasgow 2026 in the 3×3 Wheelchair Basketball. They will join England Men, England Women, and hosts Scotland Men and Scotland Women in the competition.
Wales Men and Wales Women competed in the IWBF European Zonal Qualifier, where they both placed 2nd in their respective finals. Both teams will be making history as they represent Wales for the first time ever in the competition.
Caroline Matthews, Head Coach for Wales Men, commented:
“We’re absolutely buzzing for this incredible opportunity to represent Wales on the Commonwealth Games stage! Getting a wildcard entry is a dream come true, and we can’t wait to hit the court in Glasgow. We’re ready to give it our all and make Wales proud!”
