Team England have announced their Men’s 3×3 and Women’s 3×3 teams set to represent at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games this month.
National League Consultation Commences
Premier Division clubs came together earlier this month to kickstart conversations on the next round of a consultation that will go on to form the 10-Year Strategy for the National League.
Key topics such as sustainability and opportunities to play were highlighted across the session.
Jo Rutavičius, Participation Director at British Wheelchair Basketball, said:
“Firstly, we would like to thank everyone who took part in the ‘Opportunities to Play Wheelchair Basketball’ consultation earlier this year.
“We want to continue in this spirit of consultation as we deep dive into several areas you said were important to the future of the sport. The areas highlighted in the ‘Opportunities to Play’ consultation, as well as commitments against these key areas, can be found within our strategy document here: https://britishwheelchairbasketball.co.uk/our-sport/our-strategy/
“This next phase will concentrate on our leagues, looking at their purpose and how we can better showcase the sport. Thank you in advance for your time and commitment to wheelchair basketball.”
The next stage of the consultation process is a questionnaire that we encourage all members to complete. By gaining insight from the wider member body, we can help ensure full representation across the country and all levels of competition.
