The Community Awards are designed to recognise and celebrate the achievements of highly dedicated members of our sporting community in the past season.
GB U23 Men claim bronze in Brazil!
GB U23 Men claimed the bronze medal at the IWBF U23 World Championships, which was held in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The team went undefeated in their pool group: Japan 86:29, South Africa 17:100, Thailand 90:21, Italy 60:72, and USA 98:58.
In the quarter-finals, GB U23 faced hosts Brazil and won 69:43. Progressing through to the semi-finals, GB U23 were narrowly defeated by a tough Turkiye side 52:57, dropping them out of contention for Gold. The squad rallied, heading into their bronze medal game against Australia and claiming 3rd overall with a 67:60 victory.
