Team England have announced their Men’s 3×3 and Women’s 3×3 teams set to represent at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games this month.
GB ready for the challenge at the IWBF 3×3 World Championships
The GB 3×3 squads have arrived in South Africa to compete in the inaugural 2025 IWBF 3×3 Open World Championships.
Under the banner of Great Britain, basketballscotland have taken on the responsibility of preparing and delivering the Men’s and Women’s squads. This decision is driven by British Wheelchair Basketball’s efforts to support the growth of the Home Nations ahead of Glasgow 2026.

The event is the first of its kind for the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF) and is being hosted by Wheelchair Basketball South Africa at the Sun City resort. The competition is set to be a celebration of the 3×3 format, providing an important opportunity in the IWBF calendar for the sport to develop.
