Team England have announced their Men’s 3×3 and Women’s 3×3 teams set to represent at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games this month.
GB Masters take on Sheffield!
Wheelchair basketball featured on the GB Masters programme for the first time in the event’s history, with a full weekend of fixtures taking place in Sheffield.
The games took place at the All Saints Sports Centre in Sheffield over 8th/9th June alongside running game categories. Four teams took part in the competition and participants enjoyed the camaraderie of seeing old friends and making new connections in the community.
Justine Baynes, CEO of British Wheelchair Basketball, commented:
“This is the first year that we have collaborated with GB Masters, and a successful pilot makes us excited for the future and how we can grow the offer for masters players in this country.”
