Siobhán found wheelchair basketball in 2010 following a ‘Playground to Podium’ event which introduced her to the sport. As a junior, Siobhán first played for CWBA where she achieved great success at the School Games and Junior Championships. Alongside her junior game she also competed with the clubs National League and Women’s League teams.

An award winning player, Siobhán had an extensive junior career having co-captained the women’s team to back-to-back championship wins at the 2015 U25 Worlds and 2016 U24 Europeans – a feat not achieved by any other female GB junior team. In 2018 the squad retained their U24 European Title and in 2019 the team brought home the U25 World Championship Bronze Medal.

Siobhán attended her first GB camp in 2013 and began training full-time with the centralised GB squad for the 2016/17 season. Having narrowly missed out on selection to the GB final 12 for the 2016 Rio Paralympics, her selection to the 2017 GB Women’s European squad marked her senior debut.

Siobhán and the GB women’s team made history in 2018 at the Hamburg World Championship by being the first female British team to qualify for a final and claim the silver medal.

In 2021, Siobhán was part of the history-making Loughborough Lightning squad as they won the first ever BWB Women’s Premier League title.

Off court, Siobhán is passionate about ensuring access to inclusive sporting opportunities for all. As part of this, she regularly delivers activities and speeches with organisations, schools, and businesses to spread awareness.
