From the moment Oliver played his first wheelchair basketball game he knew one day he wanted to represent GB.

Following a rugby injury in 2013, Oliver started his wheelchair basketball playing career at West Coast Warriors and cites current GB Men’s Senior Captain Phil Pratt as the biggest influence on his sporting career to-date.

The native Welsh speaker lists his selection to the GB programme as one of his proudest moments and has aspirations to one day represent GB at a Paralympics.

An advocate of the mental health benefits of the sport. The motto he holds dear is ‘You miss every shot you don’t take’
