Maddie was inspired to take up the sport after watching the GB Women’s Wheelchair Basketball Team compete at London 2012. Her GB junior debut was at the 2018 European Championships, where the team won Gold.

Proudly representing the South East, Maddie claimed two U15s Gold at the National Junior Championships and won Gold and Silver at the School Games.

Maddie earned her senior GB debut at the 2022 IWBF World Championships (played in 2023), where the GB Women’s team finished in ninth place. In 2023, Maddie was part of the team that secured both Silver and Paris 2024 qualification at the 2023 IWBF European Championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
