Formerly a record breaking competitive swimmer, Katie took up wheelchair basketball in 2013.

Katie made her GB debut as part of the 2015 Women’s U24 Wheelchair Basketball World Championship gold medal winning team, quickly followed by a senior bronze medal at the 2015 European Championships

In 2016, Katie made her Paralympic debut at 2016 Rio as the youngest member of the squad. Katie was part of the history making team, producing GB Women’s highest ever finish of fourth.

Katie joined the Cardiff Met Archers in 2021 for the inaugural season of the Women’s Premier League, and has completed two seasons with the Welsh side.
