Our athletes Lee Fryer

Lee discovered wheelchair basketball whilst still at school. His first club was Wakefield Whirlwinds, and then played for the Sheffield Steelers.

After Lee joined the GB Junior Programme he gained his first international cap at the 2017 U23 European Championships.

Lee earned his senior GB debut at the 2022 IWBF World Championships (played in 2023), where the GB Men’s team took home silver.
