Jo fundamentally believes that sport should be accessible to all. Truly passionate about the delivery of quality sports development opportunities, she brings to British Wheelchair Basketball an impressive career within the inclusive sporting sector.
Jo is an advocate of pushing forward the domestic game, regularly driving new and exciting opportunities to strengthen the British Wheelchair Basketball family.
She brings to the sport extensive experience in major event delivery, and has nurtured a career focused on participation development. Her early career in sport was with Volleyball England in volunteer and workforce development. Whilst at British Wheelchair Basketball she played a key role in the delivery of the 2015 European Wheelchair Basketball Championships as well as the 2010 World Wheelchair Basketball Championships. During London 2012 she was seconded to support the basketball and wheelchair basketball competition.
