To celebrate the Commonwealth Games and the legacy of Birmingham 2022, we’re inviting clubs across the country to host open days as part of the Inspire a Generation initiative.

These open day events will take place in the months following Birmingham 2022, where wheelchair basketball makes its historic first ever appearance in the Commonwealth Games. After seeing the home nations athletes in action across the competition, we hope clubs will be able to attract new participants to their club and increase their awareness in the local area.

Clubs can sign up to host a Commonwealth Games Legacy Open Event via our online form. Clubs with successful applications will receive a grant and marketing material to help support the promotion of their event.
