The two teams competing for the title of Junior League champions at the National Championship Finals have been confirmed. Wakefield Whirlwinds and Thames Valley Kings progress to the final after a successful day in Nottingham at the Junior League Elite 8’s competition, which took place at WildCats arena.
After an entertaining set of matches from all eight teams in the quarter finals, four teams advanced to the semi-finals: Thames Valley Kings took on North Wales Knights, and The Bears played Wakefield Whirlwinds.
After a strong performance from the four semi-finalists, Wakefield Whirlwinds and Thames Valley Kings came out on top to claim their places at the Junior League final.
The National Championship Finals takes place 14th/15th May at UEL SportsDock, and is set to be a celebration of the sport as we declare our 2021/22 champions across the Junior League, National League, and Women’s Premier League. Tickets will be available soon!
