Further to the recent news that COVID-19 precautionary measures are once again to be strengthened British Wheelchair Basketball has taken the decision to make the wearing of face masks mandatory by all participants other than those who are actively participating on-court, this includes officials, coaches, team bench personnel and spectators.  

We are also asking that any participant that has been in contact with a household member who either has COVID-19 symptoms (and not yet had a negative PCR test) or has tested positive from COVID-19 does not attend training or competition.

We have always adopted a cautionary approach with regards to our Return to Play Guidance and have been clear that our priority is the health and wellbeing of all our participants within the wheelchair basketball community.
