Dramatic scenes played out on the European Championship courts this afternoon as a relentless GB Women’s Team defeated Germany to earn a place in the final.
Making history once more, the GB Women’s team are the first in the sports history to qualify for a European Championships Final. In scenes reminiscent of last year’s World Championships the GB team beat a strong German side by just one point, in an incredible game which had both spectators and viewers on the edge of their seats.
GB once again will face The Netherlands in a major final. A squad united in their fierce determination to achieve European Championships success will undoubtedly be a formidable opponents for The Netherlands.
