3x3 Commonwealth Games European Zonal Qualifier

Fast-paced, dynamic, and all the drama – this is 3×3 wheelchair basketball!

British Wheelchair Basketball are proud to be hosting the IWBF European Zonal Qualifier for Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games on April 4th at the University of Nottingham.

Teams from England, Cyprus, Northern Ireland, and Wales will compete for one place per Men’s and Women’s competition. Scotland Men and Scotland Women have their route secured as hosts of the competition.

Played on half-court, 3×3 wheelchair basketball is a dynamic format of the game with teams having just 12 seconds to shoot during each phase of play. Games are played over one 10-minute period, with both teams in a race to score 21 points or more to end the game early.

The event is being hosted at David Ross Sports Village, University of Nottingham, on Saturday 4th April. It is a ticketed event with tickets available to purchase via the Eventbrite link below. U12s go free, but must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder.
