Wheelchair Basketball is an incredible game and a brilliant sport for players of all abilities to be involved with. Whether you are a more experienced player or are new to this beautiful game, everyone can develop their playing skills to improve performance.
The basics of wheelchair basketball are very simple – it is a team sport, played on a standard sized basketball court, and everyone plays the game using a sports wheelchair.
It is played by two teams of five, with games of four 10 minute quarters and teams have 24 seconds from taking possession of the ball to making an attempt on the basket.
