A true sportsfan Freya has a background in women’s football and rugby, as well as wheelchair rugby and wheelchair basketball. Driven to compete at a high level Freya was a member of the GB U25 team who brought home the squad’s first European Gold medal. She now competes at international level for three different sports.

As well as representing GB at the U25 World Championships, Freya will also head out to the the Six Nations later this year as the only female team member of the England Wheelchair Rugby 7’s squad.

Freya credits former GB Paralympian Ann Wild, as the biggest influence on her sporting career stating ‘She’s just an incredible athlete and such a great person to be around with a heart of gold.’

Her ultimate sporting ambition is to dream as big as possible with a summer Paralympics as the ultimate goal.
