Sam joined the GB programme in 2015 attending a camp at Lilleshall.

Sam started playing wheelchair basketball in 2008 after being introduced to the sport at a taster session organised by former GB International Gordon Perry.

Sam started his playing career with Norwich Lowriders and now plays for British Wheelchair Basketball club CWBA.
