Biography

Jade was introduced to wheelchair basketball after visiting her sister’s (Adele) wheelchair basketball team.

An accomplished player, Jade plays for the Blackhawks National League and Women’s teams, as well as representing the South West Warriors at Junior League.

Jade and her sister Adele were selected for the GB Junior Women’s Training Squad and attended their first camp in April 2018. In the same year Jade and Adele were again both selected to represent GB at the 2018 European Championships, where the squad were victorious and retained the gold medal.

In 2019 Jade and Adele represented GB in Thailand at the U25 World Championships where the team brought home the bronze medal.

Jade’s selection to the Women’s Team for the 2021 European Championships in Madrid marked her senior debut for GB.

Jade made history at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, winning bronze with Team England in the first ever appearance of wheelchair basketball in a Commonwealth Games.
